... 56860;. I slept most of the bus ride and talked with my friends a bit. As I write this it is 6:45 am and I am about to catch a bus to Federaçao to see if I can catch Paulo. Angelo is going to house me this week but I don't know his address and I have no money and I can't transfer money without wifi. Paulo, my good friend, can help with all of these predicaments. We had to take a shower before we went in because the water can get dirty from the oils ...

... savory stew made from unripe bananas, a Moqueca made from jackfruit (a giant, spikey fruit that is savory and has a taste and texture similar to artichoke hearts), a spicy chicken, fresh salad, and the best farofa I have had yet. There was also beef but I'm learning more and more to stay away from the beef down here. It's always over cooked and over salted. Might as well eat beef jerky. After we ate, we went back to ...

... we were really tired but couldn't help but go to explore another beautiful marvel of nature - waterfall Fumaca. It was a 16 km walk, so we really got our share of exercising. Tomorrow we go to Salvador and just by pure luck it is the day Belgium plays against the US. And guess what? We are going to see it! Thanks to some cool American guys we met on the boat in Amazon who managed to get the tickets for ...
