... have had a 3 course meal for not much more than I paid for my mayonnaisy chips, oh well, I was still pretty full up from breakfast. There were lots of narrow alleys, but with the rain, peoples umbrellas and tables in the street it was pretty crowded and made me feel a bit claustrophobic so I got out of there pretty quickly. There was a nice covered arcade with super expensive chocolates. I know Belgian chocolate is meant to be the best, but why so expensive? ...

... to ask some women nearby that were working a parking meter station. They told him we were in the right spot, per the address but they didn't know the building. We drove around for another 20 minutes & stopped again at a gas station to ask a man working. ... and it was great. It sprinkled rain for a few minutes, necessitating a quick change of tables to one under an umbrella. We had a Salade Nicoise, a crepe with ice cream and whipped cream, fried eggs and ham ( for Morry) and a delicious waffle. Unlike the one in Brussels, this waffle was very light and airy.
