We arrived in Southampton for our night in the Premier Inn, with one more suitcase than last year, but same weight, so hopefully we won't have that label "Heavy "stuck on them!, our last minute shopping included a toothbrush for David. The Bournemouth Pier is a very busy place with colorful arcades and outlets offering souvenirs, snacks and drinks.

If you wish to have a spot of lunch with a view, I warmly recommend the excellent Harbour Lights located at the top of the Waterfront Building ...

to build the foundation. This did this by constructing buildings for
a base. Then on top of the buildings they built the church. It is
just amazing to see it rising out of the ocean.




We had some lunch, wandered around the
