... taken with monkeys ( for a small price) ....it was what we expected....they have to make a living after all.... But it is tiring....so after a hard day bargaining in the Marrakesh souks....and buying only a few things ( a lovely necklace for Alex) we walked home to our Rihad ...a bath....and a good nights sleep....our first day in Africa a jumble of contrasts.....the next morning I looked out our bedroom window as a man led three large camels passed our riad....how bizzare ...

... they relied on human instinct. It didn't appear to be the first time they'd done it. We are intrigued about what happened prior to the snatch. Did they see us withdraw cash and follow us from there? Was there a team? Do they often patrol that area? or did they just see it as an opportunity as they were driving along? Unlike the movies, we won't get any background to it. It is all very intriguing though.
