We flew out of Madrid mid afternoon and crossed the straight of Jabrolta and landed in Morocco, Africa. Waiting at the airport was our local guides who showed us to our hotel. It was hot but nothing compared with what we would experience over the next few days. After a meet and greet with our new group we were taken into Marrakech to a restaurant. The food was pretty good and cruising through the streets was an experience in itself with crazy no ...

It was ridiculously opulent, three gentlemen were on hand at the pool to adjust sun loungers and move parasols, at lunch (at one of the Michelin star restraunts) the waiter brought out a small stool so i didn't have to put my (Dunnes Stores) handbag on the ...

... a few times but not seeing much at all and circumnavigating the mountain to reach the other side. Eventually we hit roadworks where they were laying pipes and couldn't get past so we ended up having lunch there - and what a lunch. A jam sandwich, three clementines and an orange. Not impressed. On and on we drove and were getting very fed up. We eventually reached a pine wood five and a half hours after leaving the Lodge. Nothing to see except for over 100 Black Kites ...
