We visited Sirmione castle on the 21st September - the most significant example of the defensive structures on Lake Garda. We climbed up some stairs and soon we were able to see all of the city. On our drive down from Munich, we stopped in Sterzing, Italy. Before I get to that, I have to say, driving through the Dolomite's has been amazing. The roads can be a bit scary, and all you want to do is look around at the scenery! We ended up stopping in Sterzing because there was a castle there we wanted to explore.
