    ... two of the Kiosks but neither one of the stupid @#$% machines worked, so I had to queue for an agent (as everyone else was). The delay wasn’t significant and I still had time for lunch at White Spot in the departure lounge. While waiting for departure, I was paged and went up to the desk to get my third Boarding Pass (FRA – DRS) as the first check-in agent wasn’t able to provide that.

    ... comfortable using it this year, which I did as much as possible. Surprisingly I got some compliments and raised eyebrows when I was speaking, especially from one of the hotel staff in Ravenna (I’m assuming they were just being kind, but I’m sure they appreciated the effort).

    ... hungry by this time so stopped at a small “health food” snack bar but found it was dreadfully overpriced. They wanted $10 for a Turkey sandwich ad there’s no way I was going to pay that. I commented on the high price to a girl standing nearby and she just shrugged her shoulders and said “welcome to Toronto”. I found another place nearby and got a Burger with Greek salad for a better price.

    ... filling up with gas in Prince Albert, I was told that my credit card had been cancelled........Oh....Sugar !! Paid with cash, checked I had enough for the day and set off again.

    Turned south towards the sun (ha ha !) soon afterwards and ran into roadworks. Major roadworks. Sat there on a red light for approx 20 mins then had to follow a pilot vehicle over road that had severe groves in it. Not as bad ...
