We had a beautiful warm summer day to do a 50 mile cruise down a section of the Hudson River. The Catskill Mountains were in our western view most of the way. We took on about 120 gallons of Valvtech Diesel about halfway. While swimming in the refreshing pool we met a nice couple on the Rainbow Connection from Coxackie NY. They brought us fresh made brownies and pleasant conversation after dinner. ...

It was an amazingly smooth, fast flight and for once in a long time absolutely no ill effects ...

From there we will explore the five towns once again starting with Monterosso itself and also Corniglia which we missed the first time. Then we would go elsewhere; we loved Vernazza as well and Levanto is also possible. After the three days we drive to Lidia's ...

... the water. It is paradise. I'd been looking forward to our little retreat for months.

We rode together for the two-hour drive upstate. I love meeting up with these girls because to me, it always feels like we've never been apart. We caught up on gossip, the details of Denise's newly wedded bliss, and the ins and outs of my mid-life crisis. We were due to get snow for the weekend, and were ...
