    Second day in Worthing

A travel blog entry by km66182 on Jul 12, 2015

... I drove down to the lanes, where we have to try find a SIM card for mum. At the end of the day we came back empty handed, because we decided that it would be better to use Dad's phone. The rest of the day we just mucked around, nothing interesting ...

Well, the cars have been washed, polished, fuelled, checked and packed. Tomorrow morning Red Leader and Bald Eagle set of on their latest trip of Spanish discovery! Drove along major roads/motorways (a little too fast at times) but got there in plenty of time....lunch in tiny courtyard of pub...mostly sandwiches and baguettes...then on to The a Black Prince for instructions etc. girls went shopping ...

So with no where in particular to go, we slept late, then walked around the farm and down to the barns. We saw Mike down there and he told us about the farm and about ...

Still haven't caught up. Oh well. On Monday we had a long drive down from the Leeds area to our next stay – at a farm at Rowland’s Castle, which is near Portsmouth at the very southern part of England. Most of our day was spent on the Motorways – Britain’s interstate highways. One nice thing is that they periodically have "Service" areas, a sort of rest area/truck stop, but with food, gas, ...
