... are sieved through the trees to strike the ground. Dew is everywhere – on the grass blades, on leaves, flower petals - everything gleams and sparkles with joy at the sight of the breaking dawn and sun's arrival. The air begins to warm, cattle come out in large number for grazing and there is happiness all around.
It is a lovely morning walk, amid warbling and chirping of birds.

With only days left before leaping over the narrow strip ocean to Sri Lanka we had time for one more beach stop in Varkala and then off to the Trivuvananthapuram (Trivandrum) for the short flight to Columbo. The last two months have for the gone by in a flash, the unusual has become the usual and each day it takes a little more to raise my eyebrow above the horizontal. Then again I have never been to Sri Lanka before - stay tuned.

Desperate for a break - Irpu Falls
... falls. The waterfalls was in full flow and roaring. Eswar, Manoj and me picked our spots and sat down to meditate. As Eswar mentioned the third eye was showing a lot of activity, it must have been the strong energies there.
Back from Irpu it started raining and we stopped at the base where there is a small chai shop. I had tea twice.
The walk back will be remembered for the audio on Saikumar and Rajkumar etc with everybody chipping in with their versions. Sunil ...
Hampi Day 2 - Elephant Stables!?
... that Hampi has every type of Indian uniqueness (ie weirdness) available, all crammed into one small town. There's an ashram being built on the hills overlooking the eastern end of the bazaar; there's a crazy palmist down by the river with orange robes, a huge beard and a little hut, who can be seen wandering around the town with his portable radio on full blast; there's a local homeopathic doctor who will cure all your ills for Rs50, asking questions like ...
