      ... noon. We checked back in for another night seeing as we like the guesthouse so much and want to stay round this area for another day or two. Then went to the beach at about half 12 ish, stopping off for some lunch at a Thai restaurant.       I don't have too many clothes with me considering that we are on a seven week trip - just a few T-shirts and a couple of pairs of shorts and so I guess that it was inevitable that the jet black combination would come up.       ... food was incredible, my favourites being the Pad Thai and Pad se ew. The second half highlights included; My friend Nicole visiting from the US, a conversation over a meal spawned the remark 'I cannot remember the last time I laughed so hard'. Together alongside Ash, B and family we laughed at a lady boy cabaret show, spent New Year's Eve on Bangla Road, relaxed with coconut drinks on the beach whilst para sailers landed alarmingly close to our sun-beds ...
