    The journey to Phuket! God was it a long one. We left our accomodation at 6:20 am, our guide, Chesca and Shanai came out to say bye and wave us off which was really nice. The it was time to head to the pier, the journey wasn't too bad to start with, I was a little nervous getting back on the ferry after the last experience but the sea was a lot calmer and we were on the catamaran boat which feels a lot safer.     ... Video Girl and Battery Boy returned to their room to collect their luggage as it was time to go.

    With the accuracy of a Swiss watch the driver arrived at the Straf Hotel at 10:00 a.m. as per booking instructions. Video Girl and Battery Boy said their farewells to Luncheon Luc and Catering Queen and headed off through the streets passing the many iconic Malanese locations of Fendi, Armani, Ermenegildo Zegna, Prada and Bottega Venetona.

    The hostel owner informed us that we had to book a bus to Krabi a day in advance - whether that was true or not we didn't know but she was willing to book it for us so we went with it. The hostel was only $8 a night anyways so it wasn't a big deal.     ... of gym matts no blankets or anything to keep warm and a pillow that felt like a sack of rice. We were all squashed in laying next to eachother like sardines in a tin. Yaz didn't even have a bed! We had to scrabble bits together for her eurghhhh not ideal on a stinking hangover!!! It was hot, smelly, noisy and pretty f*****g awful!!!
