... out to be too small for Hogwarts Hall so was recreated in a studio for filming. Today the Hall was set up for a banquet and looked magnificent. Portraits of many famous members of Christ Church hang on the walls, including six past Prime Ministers and Charles Dodgson, better known as Lewis Carroll the author of Alice in Wonderland. So day 1, got on a flight to Dubai. Plane was so spacious I was surprised. Annoying though I had watched most of the films on the plane but watched focus and duff which was jokes. Food wasn't great though. Got to Dubai and tried to sleep and couldn't. Chairs were too uncomfortable. Today is our last full day in London. After breakfast I headed off on the train to do some last minute shopping in Oxford St. I like their train system here, but boarding at a main station it is a little daunting. ... to Shakespeare's Globe Theater. After that we went to the London Bridge and crossed there to head to the Tower of London. Grabbed some indian food for dinner (and another free cookie) before hitting up a local pub, The Champion. Apparently it was Freddy Mercury's local pub when he lived in London and is the namesake of "We Are the Champions." Don't know how true that is but it's what we were told by some locals ...
