... belief that white people have come here to spend. A short taxi from the airport cost the standard 200,000 idr (£10), although the driver did his best to put me in a closer hostel than the one I had asked to go to. After a terrifying but nonetheless safe-in-the-end ride he asked for the charge and a 'little bit for luck'. Draft copy. Alarm went off at 6am. Snoozed it for. 5 mins (as if that would make a difference) We were picked up after a brisk breakfast (which begins at 6:30 luckily) by a mini bus from Big Adventure Tours - Still the One. At 20m you start to free fall so that's the aim as that's where the fun starts! Liz's day: Firstly excuse this quick synopsis of Liz's day as none of ...

... between us to relax. The beach was filthy and gravelly sand, not very tempting so after deciding it wasnt too nice to sit on, I walked along the promenade walkway towards Kuta. Half way along I saw a lovely restaurant with no-one there so sat by the sidewalk drinking juice and enjoying the sea breeze to keep me cool. Although no humidity, it was 40 degrees that day and quite hard going walking in the constant sun. My first friendly waiter came ...
