... about 2-3 feet long and several pieces of chicken which were huge were on the skewer … the waiter deftly removed them.

We left our friends about 8.30pm or so and caught a taxi back to the ship - it cost about 50 rand. We were exhausted and dragged ourselves up to our cabin, rang Judy and Phil and asked if it wasn’t too late to see them.

After another beer pong game we left with my roomie to the

... Dads ashes were. I haven't been there for 25 yrs. What an emotional experience!! But so special!! I still miss my Dad so much - we had this very special closeness!! We then drove to the beachfront to the Soccer Staduim and went up in a cable car and had this amazing view of Durban We then went into Durban to the Holocaust Museum which was so interesting and then had the best cheesecake!!Thats what I call cheesecake! ...

... and they would take a breath and pull themselves under the water to see the shark pass. A few passes and they were asked to come out for the next set of 5. We went down to get suited up and after a few minutes of searching, Chris told me he had bottoms for me but no top. A number of their suits were out for repair. He pointed at one of the Spanish ladies and said that suit would work - but when asked, she refused to get out as she wanted to go down again. No matter ...

... to swap our car - brilliant! George Airport was 2 miles away so we whizzed in there and the Avis manager Derek sorted us out in no time. The only Jeep he had was broken and awaiting the mechanic but he very kindly took the back wheel off it and swapped it for our busted one. 30 minutes later we are out the door and on our way at top speed! Yey!
An uneventful drive to Cape Town thereafter and with the help of some excellent navigation by yours truly, ...
