... we eventually arrived back at the hostel hot and tired... and the hostel didn't have aircon waaaa.
The tour of Bokor Mountain which looks over the southern coastline was good but we were expecting a bit more from it. The drive up from the bottom to the top was beautiful and the views from the top were incredible. The abandoned French Colonial buildings were underwhelming with lots of graffiti and there was a maaaasive Casino resort near the old ...
Kampot was a sleepy little town with not a lot to do apart from walking around and chilling in the restaurants and cafés. It felt a lot more traditional and less touristy which was nice. The "tour guide" was early! The whole month we have been in Cambodia not once has anyone been on time let alone early. So we rushed ...
... one of them was cheeky enough to hold out her hand while Sean was eating some snacks. He eye-balled them levelly while finishing the snacks.
We made it to the island, but had to get to the other side. Lauren was expecting a 20k – 30k local bus ticket and we were faced with an implacable local insisting on 100k ticket. Eventually we followed the locals and ended up on a large bus and paid the more moderate amount. Watching the GPS allowed us ...
