In the evening we met some American guys in our room at the hostel so had a night out with them dancing on the beach and all ended up swimming in the sea (no we weren't skinny dipping before you ask). My bus was at 1pm the next day to Kampot so after a bit of breakfast and with a hangover I got on the ...

Our boat was leaving at 3pm so we hurried back for this and slept on the journey back. We're both glad we got to go to the island as we had a great day. After showering and no longer having sand and salt on us we headed for dinner to a restaurant called New Sea Villa. I went for mango ...

... so I've used the time here to rest up a lot in our room and not feel like I've missed out on too much. This part of the trip has been punctuated by strange stomach pains followed by weakness and lots of joint pain. I'll be sussing it out in Kuala Lumpur if it continues. Our second room in the hotel was by the pool (which is lovely by the way, although no shallow end). The room was very large with a nice seating area inside and out. The shower didn't drain though. ...
