Brought brekky this morning at the Cologne railway station because we discovered they have lovely yogurt and muesli. Then we went shopping. I bought a pair of German shoes, made in Hamburg, for $52! Rosanne bought a very comfortable pair of new season shoes for a little more. While we were in the hotel lounge this morning we overheard a group of Brits on a coach tour being corralled into where they needed to go by their super efficient tour guide and made a ...

... We decided to head back to the Old Cologne for dinner last night and on the way passed a mob of people going to a We Will Rock You Queen music concert at the Cologne Music Hall. We got directions from some friendly Colognians and ended up at a very authentic looking Lebanese restaurant. Shades of Sydney Road, Brunswick! The hummus was to die for. Found unbelievable bargain at a 5* Hotel. & couldn't resist. To put it into context the breakfast cost 50% of the room rate! We didn't have breakfast! Even better, parking was also extra but as GG was too tall for their underground car park, we had to park with the smart cars in front of the Hotel at no charge. Hilarious!

We've now ridden 1,268km and have about another 500km or so to go.

From our perspective it's gone so quick. I'm reminded reasonably regularly that buying the Pino was Lisa's idea - that's true without her insistence that we go for a test ride in Holland a few years back there'd be no Pino and certainly no 2015 Pino Adventure!

... pizza, although instead of dough and tomato sauce, it contains potatoes, bacon, cheese and something very comparable to sour cream. So basically, it's all the ingredients of a baked potato in flat-pizza form! It was really great!!

Before we left, I also tried my first German Brezel (german word for pretzel). I am OBSESSED with soft pretzels, but this is one of the best I've ever had, the dough was so soft and melted right in my mouth, a ...
