      After Trier, we headed to Cologne to see the cathedral. Cologne is a big city and we had a heck of time finding the parking and then lugging our stuff into the hotel--a little stressful :).       ... is that we are on the second floor and with the windows open we can hear the serenade coming from the street below. We have accordion players, clarinet, Spanish guitar and saxaphone players. They play for the restaurant goers in exchange for Euro's. We get to listen for free. Almost not fair. So we leave the windows open to listen to them all afternoon and evening.

      Tomorrow we head to Recklinghausen for a three day visit with Guenther's Aunt Verena and Uncle Conrad. Talk to you later.
