        ... We stayed clear of the left lane for the most part and did remark that three hot machines blew by us(on each others tail) as if we were standing still and we were doing 130 kmh. Some things never change!!!

        As I write, we are enjoying a refreshment in our Hotel zum Muehle located on the Rhine River. A wonderful setting but not enough good light for pics when we arrived. Tomorrow after breakfast (our standard routine) will work much better. We have ...

        ... the gift shop and they had everything cathedral!! We also found a shop we had gone in last time that had official German "stuff" and I found the candle merry-go-round thingy mother had...I wanted to get one for our family tradition.         Early this morning, about 4.30, we sailed passed Frankfurt and onto Cologne, berthing at about 1pm. We opted for the city walking tour which was about 1.5 hour duration. We learnt about the history of Cologne, or Koln as it is called in Germany. With a population of 1 million, it's the 4th biggest city in Germany (behind Berlin, Hamberg, Munich).
