... bar on the top floor of the MiraMall (which was first choice until we saw the cover charge) we settled in 'King Dumplings'. It's just as it sounds. Full and with a cold head from the freezing air con we headed back to our matchbox and watched a sneaky episode of Game of Thrones. It's just so good. ... this city with sky scrapers galore, the busiest port I have ever seen and shops as far as the eye can see.

How to sum up Hong Kong ........ We can't yet we have only just scratched the surface so far, so perhaps we can tell you when we have to leave but our initial impressions are that I have never seen so many shops and restaurants ever ever ever. It is clean, bright and feels good to walk around and there is so much to see. We have ...

      Half way there

A travel blog entry by naomijade on Nov 02, 2013

So I'm now half way there. Took off from London Heathrow on time and am now in the departure lounge of Hong Kong International airport. Shattered as I didn't sleep on the plane, and whoever told me aeroplane food was nice now lied. It's just my luck that at London Heathrow my bag was chosen for a random drug swab and then at Hong Kong I get this yellow gadget pointed at my head by a member of staff in a surgical mask to check my temperature? ...
