... having forgotten about lunch so no photos of the lovely food. Service was top notch. The reviews on Tripadvisor weren't the best so I was a bit worried. Just goes to show, you sometimes just have to see for yourself. I chose this restaurant as it was in a different part of the city. Aberdeen is quite interesting. Million dollar cruisers next to fishing boats. We took the ferry shuttle back, but it dropped us off at a different pier! Fortunately I ...

Had a rather turbulent flight approaching HK but all was well. Got off the airport express HK station (after doing a selfie, haha) and waited for my cousin's wife at Pret a Manger IFC.

We then proceeded to their extra apartment at Kwan Yick where I would stay for 2 days (before arrival of my friends). Had some noodles at Congee One where I had the yummiest Hofan noodles and fried wonton.

... blessed to have God provide such lovely people to rescue me!

The next day was a day spent in Shenzhen sightseeing with Steph; after breakfasting in the 'executive lounge', which was included in the price of the room, located on the 25th floor and boasting a stunning view of the city, we went around the 'Splendid China' theme park. N rides, but cultural exhibitions, mini recreations of cool things from all over China e.g. a mini Great Wall, a replica ...

... Anyway, by about 6:30 we left, paying to get the train down to Kowloon we could then buy a return ticket on the Airport Express to Asia World Expo for HK$52 instead of the usual HK$180 as a deal put on during event days which was amazing for us, comfy train and with only a couple of stops. The train still took about 25 minutes but with the comfy seats we didn't really mind. Arrival at Asia World Expo, organisation! Got off the train and straight away the station has been closed ...
