Arrived this morning around 6.30 GMT, 14.30 HK time. The flight was fantastic, no need for the diazepam! It was so comfortable and as there were extra seats we were able to stretch out and have a sleep. We flew with Cathy Pacific, 6 star service! The crew were so nice ...

Tomorrow we are jumping in the Big Red Bus- hop on hop off style. Should be ...

... the journey there were stunning panoramic views of the Hong Kong International Airport, South China Sea, the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, as well as the flora and fauna of North Lantau Country Park to admire. Once merely a remote monastery hidden by lush, mountain scenery, the Po Lin Monastery made it to the world map when the extraordinary Tian Tan Buddha statue (informally known as the Big Buddha) was erected in 1993. Sitting 34 metres high and facing north to look over ...

... and I stayed back in the apartment. That gave me time to work on my travel blog.

Carly came back with some fresh fruit! Bananas, strawberries and cherries, which we devoured quite readily! The cherries were exceptionally delicious! All the fruit were of good quality.

I will add here the excellent job Carly has done of organizing the flights, accommodation, tours, and commuting taxis to and ...
