... included in the price. C$25 a bag. Since a quick search of the Air Canada website showed that Business Class was only $125 or so additional to what I had already paid, and it included 3 bags free! No brainer! I upgraded to Business Class and it really only cost me $50 extra ... but with boarding and leaving the plane first and priority baggage handling at the other end, believe me, it was worth it!

... Quel soulagement! Après tout, mon horaire de vol était prévu pour que j'arrive quelques minutes avant mon amoureux... J'arrive enfin à Montréal, après 8 mois d'absence. J'attends ma valise quand quelqu'un me frappe les fesses. C'est mister qui est arrivé dans ma ville natale qui est évidemment, c'était ennuyé! Accompagnés de ma soeur et ma mère qui m'ont fait la surprise ratée de venir ...

... Officers and Sergeants especially, were laid out just as they would have been equipped and furnished way back in 1812 or so ... just the sort of thing I am interested in!

After spending the best part of three hours there, I headed off for Casa Loma, a Hearst Castle-like structure in what was once one of the most exclusive suburbs in Toronto ... and which is still pretty nice.

Form Union Station we took the Skywalk- not really knowing where it would take us.
This overstreet covered walkway took us through various office blocks, over the tracks at Union Station, keeping us warm dry and completely alone.
Dowtown Toronto is a busy city center but so many corners of it seem to be completely empty alot of the time. Maybe that's how they keep it ...
