There sere some sore heads this morning; not to mention any names (McBride & Wakeford. You'd think silly old bigger would know better.

... this part made me heave so much but I survived! That evening we went out for dinner in a tourist restaurant near the city's bar street. It was Vietnamese, Thai and Malaysian food but we were all sick of Chinese so didn't feel too guilty. The drinks were extortionate so we ordered none in the restaurant and went to McDonald's afterwards for a Mcflurry and some bizarre discussions about dog sick, Cruella Deville (Lena) and special awareness yet again (Hannah). ... as an uphill escalator that transports people up the mountain to their homes and flats. We met Johnny Wilson and Susan Schenk there at the Peak Cafe where they were playing full on 80's music. Soho looks like a really interesting area with lots of shops and any international cuisine you are looking for. We came home after dinner because we were all so tired, but we will probably return to Soho on another day. ...

Mission aborted, we headed back to the apartment to wash our underwear by hand and to wait until we got to Kuala Lumpur and see what we could find there. Meanwhile I washed a few items out by hand to tie me over until we returned home, if need be.
