Lovely little Chinese people run this place, always smiling and it's a peaceful hostel but only moments from the mayhem.

I've got to admit when we first drove down the hutong to the hostel we were a bit reluctant but as soon as we walked in the staff were so friendly that it put us at ease! The room was nice and the prices for tours and drinks were reasonable! We went on the Mutianyu tour from the hostel which i would really recommend! Definitely a nice place to stay!

Loved this place!!! Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Amy, our deluxe double was super clean and comfortable - even had upholstered chairs in the room. Free breakfast, tasty meals available anytime. Of the nine places we've stayed in China, Chinese Box was the best at helping guests interact in a relaxed and fun way, (family dinner, dumpling party, BBQ). Nearby subway station made city travel very easy; the hostel even lends subway cards to guests.

This hostel has so much character and a great atmosphere - we had the most fantastic time and met some great people! The staff are very helpful with everything, especially if you want to know about what's going on in the local area. It was relaxed, fun and a pleasure to stay there.

A lot of fun, but the location isn't great. stuff is really helpful.
I sprained my ankle on their arranged trip to the great wall and they had no first aid kit or ice or anything they could do to help, not that it looks like they cared enough to help either. But the hostel's staff gave me ice when I got back, they're good people.

Today's blog is going to be delayed until tomorrow. I have it started but I am too tired to finish it. I am just getting settled into my hotel in Beijing. It is a pretty amazing intimate experience. I can't want to share it with you. By Tuesday night all blog posts will be up to date.
