Left our highway motel heading to St. Louis zoo a free entry zoo. On the way realised we had no petrol what so ever, very close to breaking down with the petrol gauge reading 0 miles. Luckily found a petrol station a mile away, running fumes we glided into the station. ... the NY Mets although Dave had to explain a lot of the rules to me. In true baseball style we had nachos and pretzels for dinner and halfway through the seventh innings they sang take me out to the ball game! Wrigley is the home stadium for the Cubs and they won so the atmosphere was great fun. The game went for about 3.5 hours and there were a couple of great home runs. What a fabulous night!
