We carried on for hours until we got to another village, with 1 hour to go it poured down, we were now walking on clay and mud.     It was one hell of a storm that ripped through Chiang Dao last night. Trees were toppled, power lines are down. Who you gonna call? Monk busters! It was an early start by our standards. Franki's first ever long distance ride and in searing heat. Negotiating out of Chiang Mai was a battle won. Out through the choked traffic to Mae Sai and onwards to Chiang Dao.
