Last day – Today was out last day before flying out tomorrow. We drove to Tsitsikamma National Park and hiked to the suspension bridge over the Storms River mouth right at the ocean. This park has incredibly beautiful campsites -- log cabins and RV/tent sites right in front of the rocky surf. Tuesday 11th. Wilderness. We left Marula Lodge straight after breakfast this morning and got in a few self-catering provisions at a Spar supermarket down the road. Then we drove through the old part of Swellendam, which is all old Dutch houses, and onto the N1, heading east. We spent approx half an hour in the cage with the biggest one around at that time (we have DVD footage so we can show you what was happening whilst we were IN the cage)! Dan saw them from the cage approx. 4 or 5 times. For some reason, I kept missing ...

Day 12 - Easter Sunday 24/04/11

We woke up super early at 6 to head to the Tsitsikamma National Park for tubing.
After a bit of a wait, enough people arrived and we set off for a ride on the back of the truck into the park. We carried the inflatable rings down to the river bed, which was quite an excercise through the rocks and trees - and wearing a big life jacket too!
It was more of a pleasant drift down the river ...
