We really wanted to do a shark dive whilst in South Africa…obviously from the safety of a cage. You get suited up and jump into a cage whilst the organisers throw in some fish guts and heads to attract the predators. After picking up our rental car in Cape Town, we easily made it to the Garden Route along the Indian Ocean and spent the night in Mossel Bay. Tuesday 11th. Wilderness. We left Marula Lodge straight after breakfast this morning and got in a few self-catering provisions at a Spar supermarket down the road. Then we drove through the old part of Swellendam, which is all old Dutch houses, and onto the N1, heading east.
