... our way around the people sitting on the red steps to get to the top to take our pic. We are finally ready to head home but not before we see a naked granny with a guitar… she was wearing a g-string too big for her so her wrinkly tush was on display as well as her saggy and wrinkly boobs. We shake our heads and walk on.

The walk home was loooong. The walk home was 6km, so since we walked up we clocked another 6km but we walked all the way around midtown too so it was a ...

We arrived outside the Rockefeller, which looked really huge and lovely all lit up. In we went for our scheduled time and up in the elevator to the very very top!! We chose to do the Empire State in the day so we could see it lit up from the Top of the Rock. It just looked amazing. We could see all ...

... Sammy ran up to me with a huge hug and told me how much he missed me, while adalia did a beautiful little happy dance. Three hours away makes the heart grow fonder... While I was in "Wicked" Tom took the kids to a shopping mall in Queens. They had a Lego store there too, and Sammy filled a cup with whichever lego pieces he liked for $8.99. I thought that was really good value as he got heaps of ...

... dragon. I had forgotten the soul of the city and as I took it all in I decided that I actually LOVE the city!!!

After the stroll around Grand Central we decided to grab a bite to eat there. Down in the underbelly of the station is a great little food court area where we had a sandwich and a smoothie. They also have a fabulous fresh market in there where you can buy amazing foods but we had no kitchen to cook anything. It must be great ...
