Joanne and I arrived in Fort Lauderdale with Air Canada.

Our hotel picked us up at the airport through their shuttle service.

We found out that we should have flown into the Miami airport. The taxi to South Beach would have been a lot cheaper than the ride from Fort Lauderdale.
