So it ends. Time never goes by faster than when we travel. It has been a fun trip. We head home tomorrow morning. We are currently between Cuba and Ft. Lauderdale. We're scheduled to arrive before 7:00 AM.

Today was a quiet day at sea, with one exception. Late this morning we sailed through a thunderstorm. It became very dark, followed by heavy rain and lots of lightning. One bolt hit the ship, immediately followed by a pounding thunder. I almost hit the ceiling when I jumped! ...

... in Fort Lauderdale - knew everyone and his dog by name. The dogs? They were Bam Bam and Pebbles). We sat outside and ate. We tried grits for the first time, and I found this out: there is a reason the South lost the Civil War. The rest of the breakfast was acceptable. 'Nuff said.
