Day three was a day of shopping! Costco, Sawgrass Mills Mall a stop at the Rainforest Café for a late lunch and then back to hotel for a swim.

... soft and warm. I expected something quite hard and scaly. Zane reprimanded me for squeezing the alligator too tightly, but there was no way I was going to have a loose hold and give it the opportunity to turn on me. On returning the the Queen Elizabeth, our neighbour, Royal Caribbean's 'Liberty of the Seas' was boarding about 3000 heavy metal fans, all dressed in black. The queue snaked forever. ... so we sought shade in a Haitian restaurant which was great. We then toured the iconic and cool Art Deco district before heading out in the evening to a few pretty disappointing bars. ... of well and this pattern seemed to continue right through. Our flight was scheduled to leave Saint John at 5:45 am. I said goodbye to my parents then made my way through security. Now the Saint John airport is not huge at all. There's one boarding gate and that's it. The gate is surrounded by glass, so even though I said goodbye to my parents, as soon as I went through security, I could see them again.
