Nach Brest ging es also südwärts nach Bordeaux. Endlich kann ich meine Kappe und meine Handschuhe tief in meinem Rucksack verstecken. Übernachten durfte ich bei Couchsurfern aus Ungarn. Ein gleichalteriges Studentenpärchen aus der zweitgrössten Stadt in Ungarn, die niemand kennt. Robert, momentan etwa so am studieren wie ich, zeigte mir die ganze Stadt. Bordeaux un dimanche gris!
... St-Andre, et la tour Pey-Berland, l'ecole de la magistrature avec ses formes excentriques, le marche des grand hommes(!!!), le grand theatre, le palais gallien et finalement le jardin public.
A travers tous ces attraits, nous avons trouve le temps de visiter une boutique de vins de Bordeaux pour finaliser nos achats et arriver a la limite des exemptions personnels d'Emilie.

... boy was it worth it! The afternoon turned cool and began to rain. We stopped for some cafe for me and tea for gen but gen fell ill once more. Un autre grand cru
... du vigneron, qui s'est associe a ses parents pour continuer l'entreprise familliale. Apres avoir deguste tous les produits de la maison, nous repartons les mains pleines de bon vins!
La route qui longe le Lot est tres sinueuse et elle offre un tres beau decor de vignes et de chateaux. Apres avoir traverse la region du Cahors d'est en ouest, on se dirige vers le village de Saint-Emilion.

Arrived in Bordeaux
... and several cafe's. Our food today is not worth a note but I did have creme glacé de poivre et cafe and it was fantastic! We managed to book our next train but as a result we are now heading down to Toulouse and skipping Lyon all together. The Eurail pass seems to almost be more hassle than its worth always having to pay with each booking and never getting to go where you want... These are things people don't tell ...
