A thousand words
There have been far too many exceptional moments during this trip to pick a favorite in any category. The Singhalese people were happy and smiling, liked Americans, respected grandmothers and helped Carmen and I in any way they could. They were eager to share their remarkable country and heritage and proud of the variety that is within this one full-of-wonders island. Galle, a town of many sensations

The other volunteers and I are staying at Janakas house which is amazing, my shower has no ceiling so I can get a sun tan and watch the monkey play whilst in the back ground I ...
What the voc!

When I am not willing to pay enough money, the men refuse to come in action. Niyaz, my guide, says that I have to be patient. And in no time, other tourists show up and they are even willing to pay the amount. Best thing is that I saw the men on the stilts and that for free!
Hereafter back to Galle to visit the old city. ...
