Relaxed start this morning before calling home to speak to Neisha and catch up on all the news of Liam's wonderful award win, then we "face timed" Jasper for his birthday. The boys headed off to find a camera store and Lorraine and went shopping at the local centre....same same...not much different from home. ... the following day where we visited the Charles bridge and the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock. We found a rooftop bar with an amazing view over the old town. Of interest also is the TV tower with the faceless babies - large iron structures of crawling babies on it.

The weather was glorious - about 24 degrees, we actually got sunburned!

We enjoyed our visit to Prague! Next stop...Vienna in ...

... road is a very short amount of time. To be fair, they do at least swerve a bit to miss you. Cigarettes are even cheaper in Prague than in Germany (about €3 a packet), so lots of butts and matches everywhere. There are more people begging here than in Berlin. The sun was beginning to set so we had to turn back since it is unsafe to drive on gravel roads at night, but the view with the glaciers and the sun setting was absolutely beautiful and worth the hours drive out there. The next morning we woke up early to head to Landmannalaugar to do our big hike.
