... Walked over the spectacular Charles Bridge,
saw some more of the old town. Got rained on a bit. Spectacular
gardens and amazing baroque wall with cave-like facade and hidden
animal faces, as well as false staircases. Hard to explain! Had a
massive plate for two for dinner, including pork knuckle, chicken
wings, skewers and salad. Delicious but very rich! Prague was
definitely one of the prettiest cities we've been to, and worth
staying the two nights. ...

... Prague in the Czech Republic. It was a bit of a challenge finding our bus, but what a bus it was! Better than a plane or train. Leather seats, TV screens, service, allocated seats and heaps of leg room. Alas, our seats were in front of a bunch of young guys, loud, obnoxious, drunk and disruptive. When asked by the bus hostess if they were bothering us, I said yes, and we were moved to the front to enjoy the trip in peace and quiet. 6 hours ...

The main square was packed with tourists, pushing each other out of the way to take pictures. Yes, I was one of them, but I'm way more sophisticated. Here was the amazing Astronomical Clock tower, much smaller than I'd imagined, where brides took turns having their picture taken. I want to be part of this bridal portrait club! I want my picture taken around ...

... We walked through the streets to the Old Town Square. There were thousands of tourists around, far more than we see in the new part of town where we are living. The Old Town Square is particularly known for the astronomical clock with the figures that appear on the hour. We have seen it before so did not wait for the 25 minutes to see it all again.
