... beautiful days riding with sunshine, roads to myself (except the top of the Aubisque) and a great 20km descent to finish on a nice wide road. On Soulor near the top I ran into a Le moo (yes that's French for bull, trust me!) traffic jam and the bull had a go at me as I went past, they would not move over just strolled down the road..

... the route due north Between champagne and Burgandy, through the 5 km Balesmes tunnel. This canal system is both automatic, manual and electronic controls. In the first lock you get issued a clicker to operate the locks remotly. i think I am supposed to ring someone to tell them I am planning to go through the section. But the froggies are pretty easy going. i am sure somebody will tell me what to do, with a smile for the dopey ...
