... avoid the delicious ice creams, cheesecakes and flavored coffees along the way! The worse meal was definitely the Taco Bell nachos (our only foray to a fast food chain the whole trip) and the best was probably the wonderful curry that we had in San Francisco. The burgers that we had along the way were of course very good and the coffees from the specialty coffee shops were excellent.
Whole Foods Market was definitely a winner for ...

... good restaurant and the chef is well up to speed. Turn on my bulb! After a light breakfast (as usual) we head off for Tram 13a on The Rozengrach intersection with The Prinsengracht Canal. Us "locals" who are in the know, use the tram system extensively and it is quite easy to get around town......... Arriving at a sensible non tourist time at Central Station, we beaker for platform 14a and jump on the banana yellow double decker ...

... half hours.. 3 and a half hours later, and hungry, we finally made it to the cloggs and cheese factory in Edam! Yes this is where they make Edam cheese!
We were given a short demonstration on how the make the cheese and then a very entertaining demonstration about how cloggs are made and why they are so awesome. We had some fun looking around the clogg factory. There were cloggs everywhere! on the ceilings, and the walls and so many sizes and colors! ...

... item of clothing and footwear I own will be considered at great length before making a decision. In my case, with a wardrobe that cannot host both my summer and winterclothes at the same time, and an (as per the last estimation) collection of 80+ pairs of shoes, this is shaping up to become a task of monstrous proportions.

... joint first in the Robinson's favourite Dutch list of places, Delft definitely deserves a mention. For a start, Delft Blue pottery has been world famous since about 1670...if you have not heard of it, you would definitely recognise it....blue and white, although they did branch out into red, blue and gold and it would seem they have now branched out into street furniture, which is pretty unique.
