... as well as a small coloney of seals (if they see no bears they always take you here – easy win). We were expecting to see more bears, and so was the driver, however on our departure from Tofino, we came a across a mid-sized bear that was munching away on berries on the side of the highway. This was a real treat, and we did 3 laps past him to ensure we got ours moneys worth.
Looks like the bad weather is now behind us.

Pulled into Tofino at 6 pm, grabbed a room at the Tofino Hotel right on the harbor, and walked to a nearby restaurant where I had an incredible salmon dinner.
