Up bright and early at 4:30 am AKDT (which is 8:30 EDT) so not too fuzzy getting started. Averted one 'challenge' in that the hotel has a shuttle to take us to the Alaska Train Station....(which hotel personnel did not know about for the last two months...go figure) so checked on board with 'Gold Star Service'.
