... for me though was the frescoes. You start in the Raphael rooms – the old living quarters of the Pope. These rooms are covered from floor to ceiling in the most amazing frescoes, painted mostly by Raphael. They were just beautiful. On Friday, we got up at 7.30, had a shower and then waited for breakfast. It was supposed to start at 8, but as expected, the girl preparing it was 15 minutes late.
