1/2 day in cebu is more than enough. I stopped by on my way back from Bohol to see what the city had to offer. I spent three hours walking through all the famous places. If you google walking tours in cebu they have a suggested walk and yes you do it at your own pace and its free. Everything is within walking distance if your living in the city. …

... in sweat. We get to the ticket office and it stinks of urine, there about 7-8 young children running around, half dressed, a couple naked begging for money off us, their hair is greasy, they look dirty. We had to pay 15 peso's for the terminal fee. Later on we were called to the gate ...

... up, swam out off the reef into the blue, dropped them and withing seconds they were devoured alive by hundreds of fish! Didn't even realise they were eaten by fish but what a fascinating site to behold. Well I digress again..but for the next couple of days it was simply relax by the pool, eat great food (including Lucy's favourite of Empanada, two folded calzone pizzas with fresh vegetables and cheese, cooked to a buttery crusty perfection!) and go for some short walks. One ...

... The rooms are just rustic or to put it another way; ****. It reminds us of some of the places we stayed in Malaysia, lots of effort goes into the front of the hotel but then the rooms and toilets are neglected for hundreds of years. We had shifted from a fan room to an air con one because the fan room was like a sauna. When we went downstairs after a nap (for me) we tried to pay to lady on the desk. We had paid 10% through hostelworld and then changed to a more expensive room. ...
