In the thick of the action...
... we were to treat the rest of the calves in the group (100 in total) with a vaccine and some preventative antibiotics just in case the pneumonia were to spread to the rest of the calves. This took up the rest of the afternoon, we were supposed to go to assist in a calving but by the time we were finished the cow had managed on her own!
When we got back to the practice there were 2 lambs awaiting our attention. They had got a bit stressed in being weaned from ...
