We decided to go to Tahoe using a Worldmark deal. We stayed the night in El Dorado with Robin on December 29th to help break up the drive. We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. ... the campsite, I get talking to a girl called Alisha who is from Australia and is a singer and musician but is currently travelling Iceland amongst other countries. She has been here a few weeks and has successfully got around the country by hitchhiking, and has had a great number of experiences and met a lot of people this way. I find this impressive and inspiring in a way, and hopefully I will have the courage and motivation to try something similar while I am here.

The guard got out, followed by the disembarking passengers, checked our tickets and asked us to wait at the end of the platform whilst he checked in the other passengers. He explained that the train would move forward to allow us to enter the sleeping car directly.
