    ... playing in the pool. The landscape here is really amazing - very hilly, but lots and lots of little hills. It would've been hard to defend this landscape - you can never see what's coming!! The soil around us seems to be mainly white clay - so a tilled plot looks almost like snow.     From Pavia, we headed to Asti, Originally we were heading for a Vin Yard with the ability for an overnight stop with facilities (from our camperdstop book), sadly we got there and there was nothing so headed for our alternative Campeggio Cagnidi Asti - It was a predominately permanent vans but with a few touring pitches.

    We didn't actually do anything here so nothing to report - Just a pin in the map.

    Slight change of plans - we left Roma at 2pm driving out easily - thank you Sarina (Tomtom) and headed for Asti - Guido navigated the autostrada like a champ and no wrong turns thru the crazy Genoa labyrinth of tunnels. Got in at about 9pm and headed out for some sparkles and dinner.
