We left Havana for a place called Trinidad with a taxi driver that looked like Al panico in scarface. On the way we stop a few place once to have sweet Cuban coffee another time at a farm to put red diesel in the car which said was illegal if the police caught him. Then we get ...

He offers us a couple of his bananas and doesn't ask us for any money. Beer and bananas for lunch. After a while, we get up to leave and tell him we're glad to meet him and try to give him a few dollars. He looks at us and asks us why we want to give him money and ...

... Trinidad was absolutely gorgeous. A tidy 500 year old town with colourful homes set along little cobbled stone streets. It was so surreal, in some ways it almost felt like a film set. As we strolled around the streets it was so unlike Australia, I just wanted to photograph everything, but remembered to take a step back and just absorb & enjoy it. Everyones big front windows and doors that face right onto the street were completely open so you can see straight into their ...
