... pretty as the buildings are painted all colours of the spectrum. Trinidad was founded in 1514 and since 1988 is a Unesco World Heritage site. The cobbled streets show how life was in colonial times and not a lot has changed since then. The ladies of the town were frequently seen brushing their part of the streets and the place is kept very tidy considering the amount of roaming stray dogs and horses that are part of ...

... and the sea, and all the coloured buildings, cobblestone paths and tiled roofs in between. And the music filters through the streets. We stop for a couple of cervezas and Mario buys some more cigars. And we have a very relaxed afternoon before our long trip back to Havana tomorrow morning. Day 33: Our last awesome breakfast at Casa Magalys. We say goodbye to Che the crazy weird dog, who growls when he itches himself and plays hide-and-seek on his own in the shrubbery. Then ...

... and it was a hive of activity. Slowly we returned to our casa and found Stephie awake and feeling much better. The following day after 11 hours sleep we rose to a beautiful breakfast in our casa. We laughed as we sat down. More papaya.... that's all they seem to serve in Cuba and Mexico but we just couldn't stomach it. Our casa family cooked us a lovely breakfast and soon Amado appeared wanting to know what we were doing for the day. We told him we were off to the 'playa' ...
