    ... did this tour today. When we arrived in Volendam, we go into a cheese making factory! A lady quickly explained now they make cheese then we were set free for unlimited tastings. Young cheese was soft and only a few weeks old. And old cheese was hard and some can be 3 years old. Both were delicious. They were paired with various mustards and jams.     ... We wanted to rent a bike and be one with the locals but we were too intimidated. We (I) deduced that cars yield to bikes, people yield to cars and everybody yield to trams. Thus, we were at the bottom of the food chain constantly being alllmost hit by bikes and trams and cars the entire weekend =]

    ... again. It's about 40 minutes there, but has free wifi on the train (called WiFi in de trein), so it's good time to reconnect with those I miss! Wish it was a longer trip! We got off the train in Beverwijk, and rather than walking the epic distance yesterday to a house, Dad's cousin Hans, and his wife Honey (another bear reference), met us at the station to take us out for lunch.
