    ... we got out.

In the museum we joined an English tour which took us off to a side exhibition - not what we had in mind. This tour was comparing Van Gogh and Munch, a Norwegian painter famous for the paintings of The Scream. The commentary was a bit long winded for us so we left the tour half way through but continued looking through the rest of this exhibition which is just as well for there were a number of very famous Van ...

... our lives and photos of our wedding. Round 7pm we caught a nearby tram past Leidseplein, to a narrow street with an Indonesian restaurant that Marjolein had discovered. We ordered an Indonesian Rijst tafel (rice table) which had a range of delicious dishes. We really enjoyed the food, service, wine and the company. ... Coffee shops Leaning buildings Nieumarkt Begijnhof Canals and bridges Amsterdam museum Cheese tasting Anne Frank house After the tour was over we were dripping in sweat and so thirsty. It was easily 90 degrees here. We find a bar in the shade and chill for a while. We do a lot more walking since the tour stopped at the other side of the city. We find a few more bars and a place to eat a lunch snack. After we ate I needed to take a shower I was soaking. We open the doors to ...

... to leave the next day and didn’t want to drink too much. Anyway, back to the story. So we left the bar and took to the cobblestoned streets. The eight of us making quite the show if I do say so. I’ve been told that at one point I tried to imitate the British girl’s accents, with very little success. Cassie even tried to help me get it right, but accents have never been my forte. Finally we reached the club and we made our way inside. After ...
