... the most expensive one was around $50,000! We did leave the showroom with a package, and it should be showing up as either a Christmas or birthday present for Amy :)
In the afternoon we took a walk to the Anne Frank house to see if the rumors were true about the crazy long lines to get in. They were true----it looks like the line must have been at least 2 hours long!

Amsterdam and 7 days bike and barge
... similar pace and taking turns in the slipstream! Wonderful group of houses all with stork nests on top, and got great views of the stork families in them. Also lots of geese in the fields or flying in formation. Had to take our bikes over the Lek on a ferry then on for 28 kms of delightful farmland, windmills and pristine, ordered gardens around the thatched roof houses. Leaving Paris, Amsterdam
... arm (he was tiny, they were heavy) and took off up the stairs. We followed. The reception staff were lovely and bent over backwards giving us maps and brochures and drinks. When we arrived in our room there was a gorgeous bouquet of fresh flowers in a crystal vase to welcome us.
We were staying on the 4th floor, up another 33 teeny stairs. Don't know how they got the furniture up there. Our room was really cute. Compact, but with a place ...
