... were a bit peckish. We hopped on the bus again and finished one of the routes and then hopped off and had some lunch. We found a lovely little out of the way cafeteria and had some lovely pasts for very little money.

We then walked back to the ship having had a most wonderful day without fighting crowds.

We had dinner and went to one of the production shows and then back to the cabin for bed.

... very reasonable €11, and entrance to Herculaneum is the same. They also do a 3-day 5-site pass, which allows access to Pompeii and Herculaneum as well as Stabia, Oplontis and the Antiquarium of Boscoreale. Considering the pass is €20, even though I only had time to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum, it still saved me €2! I eschewed the audio guide on offer, as I had a podcast version of Rick Steves' Audio Europe walking tour, and intended to use that ...
