    ... easy to do day trips, including to the town of Pisa. Famous for its leaning tower (which I found hilarious) and tourists posing for photos (which Max found hilarious) we surprisingly enjoyed wondering around the university town. Plenty of (window) shopping especially shoes, warm sun and people watching made an enjoyable day.

    Saturday 6th saw the beginning of the SUMMER FESTIVAL here in Lucca! And it just so happens to be @ the piazza down the end of our street:) Acts like 'The Killers' & 'Thirty seconds to mars' are on while I'm here!!
