After spending a good amount of time enjoying the view, we headed back down toward the river, winding our way down little stairs and hills, until we were next to the Ponte Vecchio. At this point, Steve broke off again to find a place to eat, while the girls strolled in and out of shops just taking in the scenery. Later, we met up with Steve and headed back to the hostel for the night in preparation of the big day ahead.
... Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing, Potatoes, and Mixed Vegetables. For dessert pumpkin pie, ice cream, and apple cider! It was nice to spend the night with classmates and a few professors.
Friday night, we had yet another Thanksgiving with all of my friends. Everyone prepared their favorite dish and we spent the night telling stories of our families Thanksgivings.

Florence, Tuscany, Italy frdrick... food in Italy so far! Amazing!
Finished off with a gelati from Vivoli.
Walked up to Michaelangelo Square for awesome views right across Florence which is a pretty flat city and then over to Ponte Vechio.
Wednesday checked out Academia, the highlight of which was Michaelangelo's David which is a lot more amazing and stunning in real life than pictures or the copies littered about the city.
There was also a Robert ...
Hi Everyone!
After an exhausting weekend in Brussels, I was in for yet another treat with cooking classes in Florence. Organized by my school, a group of us met with a chef for some lessons.
We were taught how to prepare typical Tuscan cuisine including Ribollita and Stuffed zucchini-flowers.
Everything was delicious & I look forward to trying these recipes at home!

... br>But Peter could not have been more welcoming offering us sympathy for our exhaustion, a comfortable sofa on which to recline, a couple glasses of wine, some great advice about the city, and even making our reservations for dinner at a place two-minutes' walk away, and thank goodness because I don't think either of us could have walked any further.
After a hot shower, dinner at Coquinarrius was delicious and then we fell comatose into bed.
Just the beginning of visiting Florence...actually I am writing this on the 27th, but will update it later tomorrow, I do believe. Just loved the afternoon thunderstorms that sweep through here. Was climbing the Duomo yesterday when one came in...interesting feeling being a zillion feet in the air with a strong wind blowing and having the feeling that a ...
Florence, Tuscany, Italy gudea... seem dumb, but I've only met Americans here, so meeting an Italian is a big deal. So that was lots of fun. I also got to meet some American students, who got to SACI, which is the art school in Florence. A bunch of the people at the appartment knew my friend Sara Hulan because they also went to Skidmore! It was really cool! I think that's about it for now. I'll make sure to write another blog when the weekend is over. Ciao!

Florence, Tuscany, Italy peter148... of the city. After the gardens we stopped by one of the places that had really good canolli. I got two mini ones (one for me and Alina), and a butter cookie with jam on top. Both were amazing! It was then time for dinner, and everyone wanted to stop at the "best" kebab place in the city. Even though Alina and I had just had kebabs for lunch, we decided to join them. The kebabs were better though. After dinner we came back and found out ...
