... of the music. Sounded interesting. Unfortunately that's as much as we found out; we sat there for some time being the only customers there. We had a drink and thought the music would start soon but we were out of luck. Out came a banquet for the musicians which they all tucked into, in no hurry to start playing any time soon. ... view of the countryside. It was 7.30 on a Sunday night and the market stalls were just starting to pack up. It is a weekly market a bit like Riccarton Market, with all the old stuff people were trying to sell. The Red circuit gave us such a good look of the Firenze and its nearby hills where Fiesole is.

... evening we walked up to Michelangelo's Plaza to watch the sunset. Was a beautiful warm evening,unfortunately the mosquitos were also out in full force. But the views definitely made up for it. ... trying to keep my hand steady as the bells of one church finished and another started!

I thought I could go through Villa Bardini into the Boboli Gardens, and the signs seemed to indicate that, but I never could find my way. So I ended up leaving from the same place that I entered and then since by now it was close enough to lunch time, I picked up some pizza-by-the-slice from a shop close to the apartment, brought it back to eat, and rested for a while.


What a romantic city…. LOVED IT!!
