What a fantastic city! The history, the culture, the pure aesthetic beauty. Our second island, Burano, was predominately a fishing harbor, with the houses painted varying bright and vibrant colors. It made for a canvas of vivid colors lining the canals of the small town. I've been a bit slack on article writing over the past couple of days, but with good reason. We have been busy having fun! On Saturday we took the kids to Pinocchio park in Collodi, the town where the author of the famous wooden boy, Carlo Collodi, lived. It was great for the kids, and was a kind of theme park with antique rides, modern sculptures of Pinocchio characters, and endless gardens. We are in room 519 which is furnished in the Venetian style. It has some handmade Murano glass chandeliers on the walls. The windows open wide to the waterfront.

... it just came out of nowhere. I ended up giving the bar guy 20€ for his troubles of cleaning up the mess.
So we leg it back to the room and I suddenly realize I don't have my iPad, we look everywhere and it is not there, so I go back and it's not there and then later both me and baz both go back, no sign.
