... we took to the road and headed toward the coast south of Salerno (near Agropoli).

5 mins down the road we saw a supermarket and stopped to buy up some GF goods for Emma - Italy is definitely the most organised for GF stock so far! Bread, Pasta and plenty of other options, and this shop was the equivalent of ALDI... Not the best choice we've seen so far!

After about an hour of driving, we had our second bit of fun with GPS ...

Home made Limoncello and another after dinner drink, home made with herbs which had a strong ...

Amazing how these houses have survived perched ...

Yesterday left Positano. We took a shuttle to Salerno then picked up a car from Avis. The coast road from Positano to Salerno was truly breathtaking and the driver quite friendly and tried to explain a few sights along the way. Headed south and stopped at some Greek ruins in Paestrum which dated back to BC. Weather a little cold and rainy or we probably would have stayed longer. Took the scenic root to Marina di Camerota. Stopped at Bascillicata and had a late lunch at a little pizzeria. ...

... are German. We are chilled.

Signor e Signora, after my morning camminare, arise, step outside into the warming sun to enjoy a fresh fruit salad. Then one or the other takes the computer to reception to check emails, the state of the finances, weather and, most importantly, to download the Times crossword to be printed back at the van. For an hour or so, with furrowed brows, they struggle with the clues until one declares "I've had enough" and takes me for my ...
