... Vicki likened the hotel to a motel on Nepean highway in rosebud. Not far wrong. Even though the beach was a fair walk in the heat I took off back to the beach for a lovely swim while the others rested in air con when it got started again. Strangely my room was again the far better one with a view and working air con as it has been the entire trip. Normally they always win out. Maybe the Camino positivity is following ...

(Note: pronunciation of this name was a pickle complicated by our Italian surroundings. Postum? Pastum? Vote here and we'll pick a winner.) This train was a regionale, not as fancy as the high speed but quick and efficient.

At the Paestum station, you get off the train and walk about 15 minutes down a long ...

... guide, not to mention conscientious driver. The rain was falling as we made the drive, but ceased the moment we arrived at the farm. Our guide, Stefania, was knowledgeable and friendly and seemed to take a lot of pride in the operation. The farm has been a family business for three generations and people come from many miles to purchase the cheese, yogurt and leather products. There are 300 momma buffalo and eight ...
