      After our visit to Christ the Redeemer, we headed back down the 700 meters of amazing hairpin turns towards the Maratea marina.       ... hairpin turns. The longest straight stretch we encountered was probably no more that 400 or 500 yards! But when we came over the summit and saw the Tyrrhenian Sea below us, I knew we were on the right track. What a spectacular sight reminding us of our drive into the Cinque a Terra many years ago. Another 4 or 5 switchbacks and the statue of Christ the Redeemer was in view which confirmed we were in the right place. Now, how to get to our resort??
