... refused the first room because the shower was dirty - the one I ended up with had someones knickers still drying on the curtain rail! Also I had a toser next door - this guy coughed hm-hm-hm-hmm about every 20 seconds non stop - it was obviously from it's sound & rhythm a mental rather than phgsical cough - the lovely hotel manager did not take seriously my concerns - had to end up sleeping with earplugs and my head under the fan to try and blot it out.

... wake up call the following morning, so we went straight to bed. We woke up at 4am to shower and check in at the Tica office, conveniently located in the lobby of the hotel, by 430am. The bus departed promptly at 530 and before we knew it, we were headed to the El Salvador/Guatemala boarder.
