... did the circuit again stopping off at three of the 11 stops. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the city (although we did see homeless people with their carts overflowing with their worldly goods or small tents set up in sheltered areas under overpasses) but for the most part we saw an impressive skyline with some incredible architecture, glistening water in almost every direction and of course the gentle breeze and warm sunshine ...

... we anticipated! Some rapids and a log flume again which were both pretty good fun! The highlights of the day were the whale and dolphin shows. Killer whales on show performing to the crowd, breaching, flipping and soaking the audience on purpose was amazing to see! And the same with the dolphins, dancing, flipping and putting on a great show! It's crazy how humans can train and interact with these animals in the way they do and for the animals ...

This morning we decided to catch the Public Train down to the Boarder to have a look at Mexico. Sarah was feeling pretty un easy and when we got into Mexico she was pretty over whelmed. We just walked across the boarder easy enough no passports needed. They didn't even check us at all. Tijuana was rather dirty and lots of undesirable people all around and not many tourists. It's getting close to the next leg of our travels, when we pick up a car tomorrow and drive inland towards Palm Springs, where we will stay three nights. It's been great charging the batteries after our long flights and inevitable jet-lag - San Diego was a nice place to do just that. ... We are tired after the flight. Plan to see the San Diego zoo tomorrow and avoid the crowds at the beach since its Memorial Day. Oh, forgot to mention, the beach and boardwalk is a 15 min walk.
