Monday 24th March. Trinidad to Cienfuegos. 0900 bus arrived 1.5hrs later.On the trip we hot to see the roads by the sea littered with thousands of dead squashed and alive reddish orange crabs a seasonal mass migration crossing the road on their way to lay eggs in the sea.Apparently cars get heaps of flat tyres on these roads due to the crabs puncturing the tyres. Today we visited the city of Cienfuegos. Cienfuegos is a gorgeous city, and definitely not to be missed on a visit to Cuba. As with Santa Clara, most of the buildings are Spanish Colonial architecture, and painted in bright colors. The best place to start a visit is in the city's main square. The park in the center is beautiful, and it is surrounded by buildings done in the Spanish Colonial style, including Cienfuegos' best ...
