The overnight bus was pretty bad and not ideal for trying to sleep with salsa music playing all night long and hourly stops. We finally made it to Almirante, Panama around 4 am and took a 30 minute water taxi to the island which was dead that early in the morning. Woke up and probably the nicest day we've had the last week and what a surprise I need to leave early as got a bus to catch! Packed up my stuff, had breakfast and checked out. Went to starfish beach with Emma, Ivo and Robin - didn't realise it was a 45 minute trip and then a 25 minute walk so for me I didn't have much time there! Got there about 1.20. Was a nice walk to get to the beach, through palm trees. ...

... on it. At least they stop letting the train pass it at the same time as the pedestriens. You really had to watch your step there were wholes everywhere and falling would not have been a good idea, since 15m underneath was a river! So I clinged to my pasport, my wallet and my smartphone and just walked and wished for the best! :) Once arrived on the other side you proove you paid your 8 Dollars to leave Costa Rica to then pay 3 Dollars to ...
