We left the beautiful Caribbean town of Puerto Viejo at midday via shuttle to head to Bocas del Toro, Panama. The boarder was only 42km away so we were there in no time. We had to wait at the Costa Rican side as there was only one teller and they were taking one person at a time. On the Panamanian side we had to show proof via an exit flight. ... very welcoming. There were a couple of highlights, Restaurante Alvin did the best fried chicken I think we have ever had and Red Frog beach on the other side of the island was very beautiful and had a great day trip there. Laurie wasn't feeling the best, we headed back to Bocas for a pharmacy and to have more options for things to ...
