... the rain arrived in earnest. Once again we got lucky and returned ahead of the storm. There was a still lot of sun around and soon a spectacular double rainbow formed. Don’t miss that photo in this blog.
Our sail away began around 5:00 PM. The views were spectacular as we headed east and out of the bay. The sun was getting low and the clouds, showers and sun made for a truly tropical scene. The photos don’t do the scene justice.
... people got seriously burnt. My factor 30 was pushed to its limits, but I evaded the burn. That night, there was a beach party in a beach bar for the peace corps with a huge mixture of locals and Americans getting drunk. It was really fun, but I sweated shed loads.

We had a nice sail away then decided to watch a film and in the cinema area saw water for
elephants which was good but we got to dinner late as it was closing so got the dregs of the buffet. We swapped out our film for a new one but fell asleep watching it. Still ...

... park and apparently it has a coastline to die for. all kinds of backwaters to explore and paths through the jungle to walk on. in the middle is a place that sells delicious food for 100 pesos a plate, approximately $3.50 USD.
This is the kind of place you want to get stuck. too bad
