... and yummier than the main tourist restaurants. We again wandered through more shops and stopped to look at the menu’s posted outside of restaurants before choosing one that looked authentic.

Dinner was excellent! The waiter spoke pretty good English, and was able to talk us through the menu and our options. We got an assortment of tapas’, traditional bread, another pitcher of sangria and then crème brulee for dessert. Tapas were an interesting way to sample ...

... Gail also show up and it's been nearly 18 months since we last saw them on the Allure sailing out of Fort Lauderdale. This is why we enjoy cruising. We have met so many lovely people from around the world over the last 10 years. We make dinner reservation at Portofinos for 10 of us on our last night (Peters Birthday) before heading back to the cabin. Back to dinner….We had a bit of a wait,
but it was SO worth it! We scarfed down
ham croquettes, an eggplant dish which was to DIE FOR, sautéed mushrooms and a
dish of potatoes with a romesco sauce.
We washed it down with sangria and were VERY happy. We were BOTH eager to get back to the room
and enjoy.

So back to the hotel, and up to the
Penthouse Dome Suite – I SO love ...

Today we spent the day looking around the city. Once again we took on the challenges of a local metro train system. Most work the same way so once we got used to the place names we were ok. First stop was the Sagrada Familia. Here is a bit of Wikipedia on the place.
